Weaving With A Touch of Tradition
Sarees woven in real Mulberry silk are traditionally woven in colors that are vibrant and appeal to the Indian palette. They have long been a symbol of tradition and elegance in Indian culture. To ensure that the yarn does not fall short in weaving the saree, manufacturers always dye a small percentage of yarn more than what is required. Often, there is a leftover quantity of yarn that accumulates in the weaving centers. This yarn is picked up by us, sorted color-wise, and used to weave carpets. Instead of discarding this yarn, we use it to weave beautiful upcycled rugs.
